Congratulations to Namra in 10N, who was the winning candidate in the school general election held on 7th May.

Congratulations to Namra in 10N, who was the winning candidate in the school general election held on 7th May. All the candidates not only created their own campaigns, with some stunning and imaginative posters, but also had to go through the ordeal of a tough debate in front of a large audience and to make speeches to every year group in the school.

Following a busy day of voting, the results were as follows:

Taybah (8W)       Conservative                     60

Namra (10N)       Green                                   187

Ashley (10N)       Labour                                  177

Aasha (7R)          Independent                     34

Well done to all the candidates and their teams for conducting their campaigns in the right spirit and for all the hard work and effort they put into contributing to a memorable event.
