Welcome to the
Sixth Form Area

Our Sixth Formers are enthusiastic and intelligent young women who have chosen to complete their education post-16 with us, or have been welcomed from other schools. We have an outstanding retention rate at A Level. In 2020 over 99% of students completed their A Level studies.

Sixth Form students at Woodford County High School are expected to work hard to achieve academic excellence and to take part in a range of opportunities provided for personal development. We view the Sixth Form as the transition period from mainstream school to University or employment. One of our key aims is to help our students develop as independent learners and become confident individuals with a variety of skills to offer.

These web pages are intended to give you more insight into the character and ethos of our Sixth Form; we hope that you will want to be part of it.
