Live Online Admissions Information Event  (for current Y5 pupils)

Thursday 8th May 2025 6.30pm

Y7 Entry September 2026

 Our school – Her future

Woodford County High School is a selective girls’ state grammar school in the London Borough of Redbridge. Entry is via a voluntary 11+ test, which is administered by the London Borough of Redbridge Education Authority and taken in the Autumn of Year 6. The school’s catchment area includes the whole of Redbridge and selected areas of adjacent boroughs.

Parents of girls in Y5 who are interested in applying to Woodford County High School for entry to Y7 in September 2026 are warmly invited to attend our Live Admissions Information Event. This event will be online and accessible via the school website www.woodford.redbridge.sch.uk at 6:30pm on Thursday 8th May 2025. You do not need to sign-up before hand to join the event. The briefing is aimed primarily at parents but, of course, children may also view it alongside their parents. There will be a chance to ask questions.

An on-site Open Evening event is planned for October 2025 when the Parents / Carers of children who have taken the test will be invited to book tickets to visit the school in order to inform their decision making about secondary school preferences.
Please note that all Y5 parents who wish to have the option of naming Woodford County High School as a preferred Secondary School must register for the 11+ test via the Redbridge website. Registration opens on 1st May 2025 and closes on 15th June 2025 at 5pm.
