The Pupil Premium is allocated to schools for children of statutory school age from low-income families who are known to have been eligible for Free School Meals (FSM) at any point in the last six years, or have been looked after, adopted from care or left care under special guardianship, residence or child arrangement orders. It is also available for children whose parents are currently serving in the armed forces.
At Woodford we use our Pupil Premium funding in two ways: (a) to fund programmes that can benefit a number of girls, but which may be of particular value to those on the Pupil Premium register; and (b) to make discretionary awards to individual students based on identified needs.
From autumn 2015, if your daughter is studying at the school and is on our Pupil Premium register you will receive a letter by the end of September informing you of this fact. If you do not receive a letter and believe your daughter may qualify for free school meals or be eligible for the Pupil Premium in some other way, please read the eligibility criteria in this section of the website.
