This Year's AGM & Tea
This year, the OGA will be celebrating School’s 106th Birthday on Saturday 27th September 2025. As well as an opportunity to look around the school and meet up with old friends, we will be holding our AGM, a short assembly and a birthday tea (£5 per head, on the day). All past pupils are most welcome, although attendance at the AGM is restricted to OGA members. Should you wish to become a member, there will be opportunity to pay the £5 annual subscription on the day if you haven’t done so in advance.
School will be open from 11.30am until 5.30pm. You are very welcome to bring a packed lunch to enjoy with friends; indoor space will be available as well as the school grounds (weather permitting!).

Entry and registration through the North End door by Charter Road (by the Old Gym)
2.00pm OGA AGM in the Main Hall (Members only)
2.45pm Gather in the Crush Hall for Assembly at 3.00pm
3.00pm Birthday Assembly in the Main Hall (Open to All)
4.00pm Afternoon Tea in the Dining Hall (All very welcome!)
5.30pm Time to go home
Reunions
Most years, groups of ex-pupils join the day to mark a special anniversary or just to enjoy meeting up with friends.
This year the 1968-1975 year group are planning to have a reunion to mark 50 years since leaving. If you belong to that group and would like further information, please email Jan, our treasurer, on treasurer.wchsoga@gmail.com.
Many from the year group 1985-1992 are planning to come to mark 40 years since starting at WCHS. For more information, please email wchsreunion2025@gmail.com.
