Privacy Statement
We are committed to protecting the privacy of our students and of prospective students. Only authorised employees within the school will access and use information collected from individuals – e.g. via the on-line application process. The information you provide is protected under the UK General Data Protection Regulation which came into effect on the 25th May 2018 and replaces the Data protection Act of 1998.
Confidentiality
Woodford County High School is registered with the ICO (Information Commissioners Office) and, as such, we are very careful about any information our students and prospective students provide us with. This information (including personal information, which is sourced via the application process) may only be shared with third parties when it is necessary for operational reasons, e.g. contacting your school for reference. We will issue prospective Sixth Form Students (internal and external candidates) with appropriate written information, including (where appropriate) an official provisional offer letter. For the benefit of both parties, please keep this written information safe. Your information will be destroyed as soon as it is no longer required.
